Thank you robbo! Really great to see a beautiful peregrine in its "own environment".

Sparrowhawk
Period: May to August
More Information:
This is our second attempt to capture the intimacy
of a Sparrowhawk nest. Unfortunately the first nest
was predated by a crow. This is a different Female
and she has six chicks.

Mom looked babies and thought them was hungry. After some time she returned to nest with a little mammal and feeded little ones, it was quick eaten (in last pic).

"My" hawks at this very moment are in Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, Scotland! And my camera MWSnap! And they all are sparrowhaks. A whole family! Yet haven't seen the Male - think so .
It seems to me all 6 chicks have survived well. Maybe 5 of them have already fledged. The feeding service looks to work at the nest.
At 16:50pm - something red meat for dinner ... all happens very quickly, little hawks are surfing round all directions. It rained almost all the time, but it did not seem to disturbing anybody too badly.
