. Indeed, it is not an easy task to trap an eagle. And it is much more difficult to re-trap it, because they’ve learned from experience. We failed yesterday, but we'll keep on trying in coming days.
The situation is unpleasant, but Indrek seems to handle it well. Yesterday we did not notice any influence on his flight performance; he is able to catch prey and he takes it to the offpsring.
We haven’t had much experience with hanging transmitters over the last fifteen years of using them. Accelerometer of transmitter always detects such a problem. But if it happened, eagle was able to remove the transmitter or it has been fallen off soon by itself.
