Some good news, a male rung at the loch garten nest and a son of EJ has been identified at a nest in Scotland

Hi Fleur, think it would be EJ. Yesterday saw her there too.

A piece of today afternoon...

Odin was at the nest alone, maybe EJ was eating a fish on the branch. Strong wind however continues, can't understand how they get a fish in this weather... Odin left, EJ returned, Odin returned... you guess the end!





Homeworks was made also, of course. - Very strong wind blows all the time...

Hi Annie, there are 2 trout fisheries in the vicinity of the nest. The one to the South of Loch Garten lies at the edge of the Rothiemurchus Forest, is packed with trout and is fairly sheltered.I dont know if Odin visits here, but suspect he does as a quite a few local breeding male Ospreys visit this site. Red8T stopped here before returning to his nest and hunts here regularly apparently. There is a hide here solely for the viewing and photographing the local Ospreys
