Barn Owl - A Lost Gardens of Heligan, Cornwall, UK
About noon, both home. So it was also at early evening,
... male is moved the female side.
Male was taken care of his feathers and finally as they often do, he streched... look at that!
It's somehow different as usually it is manly! - I think, my first male Barn streching.
Barns, they are so lovely (among many others)!

You can see how much paler the male is to the female
That is also very true, robbo. He is much paler here... think there is some difference in temperament too and of course in body structure. Females often are motherly and softer.
... love to see, male also being caring and loving member in his family!
Love your pic, they are turned towards each other beautifully.

Mom caring for 4 eggs... it seems to be the brood size this time.
Update:
As you may have noticed, there is a broken egg in the box, we are unsure as to how it got damaged. The female Owl has eaten the contents, which will be a fantastic source of nutrients for her.
The first egg is due to hatch on the 25th of May.
Brooding continues, three eggs.

The first egg is due to hatch today. Haven't seen any signs yet... maybe you have?!
Mom take a break and a bit refreshes herself between incubation.

Brooding continues. It's difficult to see any marks of a hatching process, the eggs are there so far.
Male has today been home too, pics are taken 13am.
Dad with Mom and the Owlet - most of this day, I think.
He was so interested in the tiny one, and enjoyed being here with his family.
