Kaneraa ei saada toimimaan entisin konstein ja ongelma lienee sää. Paneelit eivät lataudu polvisillä ilmoilla.

"Morning everyone. I have an update on the camera situation.

Wildlife Windows have continued to investigate remotely what is causing our problem and are fairly sure it is the camera. They have tried everything they can remotely with no success.

We do not however know what the issue is. The best guess is that it could be a lack of sunshine to the solar panel which is situated a little way off from the tree. As the camera's batteries reach a certain low point it may have shut itself down.

We expected a few more weeks of operating power from the system, based on the length of daytime. But some particularly overcast days may have drasticly cut the available sunshine to the panel.

If that is the case, and we are only guessing that it might be, then it is possible that a good dose of sunshine may kick things back into operation again - but this is a slight hope. More likely the camera will need to be manually restarted as it will have automatically shut down rather than just run out of juice.

In order to access the camera we need someone licensed to work at a functioning osprey nest to climb the tree and carry out the procedure. Or if its not a simple low power shutdown - try to work out what is up with the camera. Unfortunately, our licensed climber is off working elsewhere all weekend. So we won't be able to pay the camera a visit this weekend. I know you'll all be missing the feed so apologies for that, but Monday is the earliest it might be practical to get a licensed climber up the tree."
